Those numbers - $ spent on Christmas vs. $ to provide clean drinking water for the world - are pretty staggering. I almost choked on my venti no-fat half-caf no-whip pumpkin spice latte, you know? It's a natural time to have a little come-to-you know, Him, with the kids (10 & 8 yrs) about Christmas commercialism vs. what Christmas is really about. As a mom, I've been feeling guilty but planless about this for awhile. Maddie still believes in Santa (delusional) so I don't want to ruin the magic, but I don't want to overshadow the real magic.
